North Island: Rangitoto Island, Auckland

Auckland has 47 volcano cones littering the lanscape. One of the largest ones has formed an island in the harbor. Kath, whom I met on the ferry ride to the island, and I are in one of the lava tubes. Jason and Susie have headed back to Australia. Kath is on her way to China next, after a week long visit in Australia.
